Anyone up for a game of cards?

Erica played her first game of Uno. She did amazingly well. Its rather easy for a young one, if you think about it. All she needs to know are colors: green, blue, red, yellow. Numbers are a factor, but she was able to work with just knowing what colors to use.

We played the day after thanksgiving. By we, I mean Erica, Hubby, my sister Abby, and of course myself. I took pictures and also little video clips. I'll upload one... maybe two. It takes a long time though. I reckon I'll do one tonight and then possibly the other clip tomorrow.

While waiting for this to pan out, I'll talk about random things. Today I took Erica to the mall. I just needed to get out of the house! I was getting a bit restless and Erica was too. So I packed up a lunch and drove to the mall.

Oh how I love the mall, let me count the ways... Okay, #1 is that they have a kids' play area. I've been so spoiled; most malls don't have that. Its fantastic that we can pack a lunch and go there for a free day of playing inside away from the cold/heat [depending on season]. I did spend a bit of $, but that was on a Christmas present for someone-- I'm not saying who. Hmmm...

Tomorrow night I have community kids' club from 7 to 8 PM. Before that, I'm gonna head to the Library. I had 'ordered' a bunch of things via their website and have to go pick it all up. I also need to work on a lesson for my one ladies' group. Afterwards, I'm heading to B&N to work on "My Book."

This is still going and going and going. I don't think the video will ever fully load. I've already written all that I want to, including finding links for many of the topics... ... ... AMEN! It just finished. Good, now I can go to bed!

I'm a dork and decided to add this second one. I guess I don't value my sleep.

So THAT'S what you were up to today, huh? :) We were out shopping as well. Not at the mall, unfortunately.

That is something we need to do together with the kids... a relaxing mall trip where you have no "to do" list. I love doing that, especially around Christmastime. I do all my shopping early then just enjoy the mall for the atmosphere. I think we'll be doing a bit of relaxing at the mall on Tuesday for Reagan's picture session at PP.

Anyway, Reagan got Erica's "love letter" in the mail. He was thrilled that he got "mail!" I almost thought it was going to say, "Have your people call my people." ha ha

I'll be calling... soon...!! (I've got a craft idea, if you want, and the pinecones to do it.)
