happy, happy, happy, happy????

It's like the 'fates' were testing me yesterday, saying "Are you really happy? Lets see about that..."

Erica. Hmm... I don't know what's up with her. She was extremely moody. Not defiant in a "terrible two's" sort of way. But something was really bugging her and I couldn't figure out what. And its rather hard to help someone if you don't know what's bothering them.

And I'm sick. Well, not sick I guess. I have a bladder infection; My 4th one in 4 months. So, I went to the doctor. And had to wait 45 minutes until the Dr could see me. Which led to EXTREME PAIN in my knees. It was awful. Sitting for too long really makes them hurt.

ANYWAY... since I've been having this problem for quite awhile now, they're sending me to a specialist. Yippee. That's completely sarcastic; I'm not looking forward to it at all.

When I got home, I laid on the couch and cried. I was in so much pain from my knees. Yes, I'm a wuss.

I called to make an appointment with the people. Luckily they could fit me in this Friday. Then I started freaking out about who would watch her, b/c my MIL works Friday mornings. I called Clairissa but she wasn't home. EEK! Then I checked my email and realized that she and her family went to the beach. EEK! But just 30 seconds ago she called and said they were home now and she would gladly watch Erica.

YES!

So, I'm trying very hard to retain that happy feeling. Whenever I feel stressed, I remind myself that I was happy and can still be happy.

[ps. My Zwinky is currently dressed to reflect how I'm feeling. Though I did manage to change out of my pajamas this morning.]

Ouch! I hope you get to feeling better really soon. Those knee problems don't sound good...you're too young to have problems like that!!! Keep us posted.

Hope it gets better.

I'm so glad my knees aren't as bad as yours- but I have the migraines. Oh joy!

crazy working mom-- yeah, I am too young for it! So sad.

Abby-- Are your migraines still giving you lots of trouble? I haven't heard you talk about it much lately.

I hurt my knee when I was in high school, sitting like that was horrible. I hated going to school and having to sit for all those long hours, thank goodness for class changes.

Hopefully the specialist will be able to figure out what's going on with your knee. In the mean time, I suppose if you are in a situation like that where you have to wait in a waiting room or something...perhaps you could get up and walk around every ten minutes or so. Sure, you might get some weird stares, but it's probably better than going home and crying because of the knee pain.
