out of sorts

I'm really feeling out of sorts recently. So, I may be absent from BloggerLand for awhile. But I'll come back soon.

Why am I out of it? Several reasons. One is that I've been very busy with various responsibilities. Things that are VERY time consuming. And I havent been able to really take any time for "me."

Added to that-- Andrew is sick. I feel for him, really I do. I try to help get him what he needs in order to feel better. [With that said...] I'm really getting worn out though. Taking care of Erica Monday through Friday is hard. But weekends can be harder. Today [sunday] I had to entertain her all day long. And I was so tired. We went around the neighborhood so she could "ride" her tricycle. We went to Rita's Italian Ice, where she indeed did eat most of the gelati. We colored with sidewalk chalk. We blew bubbles. We played ball in the backyard. ... I'm getting tired just thinking about it.

Erica was extremely grouchy today too, which didnt help any. So I put her to bed around 8:00, which is really early for her. And Hubby went to bed then too. I was elated with the "me-time" available. I watched a movie. Now I'm blogging. I want to work on my book, but I'm not sure if I currently have enough brain power to do it.

It seems a shame to go up to bed when I have free time at my disposal. Maybe I could watch another movie???

I so understand the need for me time and it is hard to blog, live life and yet fit it all in. Take your time to regroup and relax. Sounds like you need it!
