Spring has Sprung

Okay, well not completely. But its been warming up. [i hear rumor that its gonna be cold this weekend... i will kill whoever started that rumor!] We turned the heat off. Opened the windows. Played outside... not with snow. Erica got to wear a skirt WITHOUT tights. And also some new sandals. Very cute.

And lucky for you-- you get to see her on her new tricycle. Isnt she the cutest? She got this from her Grandma for her B-Day. She had been riding it in the basement, but we took it outside after dinner. She had a BLAST!

Erica was a bit reckless though. Much more than a bit. See, our house is up a bit of a hill... For awhile, Erica was content just to stay in the driveway. But then she saw other kids [older kids] riding bikes up and down the sidewalks, so then erica just HAD to do it. Well, i got quite a bit of exercise, i'm not sure about her. She just sat on the thing and kept her legs up, and just rolled down and down and down. I, however, ran beside her, bending over to keep a hold on the handle. Many times she almost flipped or ran off into the road. But i prevented such a catastrophe.

Finally, i banished her to the back porch. [Which is shown in the picture above.] She was happy there for a bit. Then we came inside. And here we are-- Erica watching Strawberry Shortcake, and i'm obviously blogging.
