thanksgiving on the road

lots of people drive long distances in order to visit with family and friends over thanksgiving. it can get VERY stressful, definitely not a time when people feel "thankful."

well, there are times when i feel like i've been given a little blessing on the road. for those things, i'm very thankful.

the number one thing: when i'm merging onto a highway and there are no cars around. its always so hard to merge onto a crowded highway, and so i'm always super thankful when there are no cars to block my way.
