one day my prince will come...

meaning: DSL. Yeah, we still dont have it figured out.

I called Technical Support yesterday-- to find out that they never ACTIVATED our account. So, it really wasnt our fault that it wasnt working.

but once they "fixed" it, we still couldnt get it to work.

We still have dialup at home, I do most blogging at work, isnt that sick!

About your baby crying, my wife and I never let our babies cry, ya, call us what you want, it just didn't feel right. That's the best advice someone gave us, "if it doesn't feel right, then it probably isn't." I have seen military type parents that will let their kid cry with no remorse, but I was never able to it. People say babies can be manipulative, I think thats true a little bit, but mostly that notion is bogas. Those first years go by so fast. I was a terrible parent for quite sometime after our 3rd was born. I was just pathetic. I regret some of the things I said and did. It all depends on what feels good to you. If you feel good about letting your baby cry then go for it. I tell ya though, I never stayed at home with my kids, my wife did that. So really, I have no say in this, I am preaching but I did not practice it. Way cool of you to be home with your baby. Why did I just rant.... sorry!!! Being a parent is like being in a world of contradiction, some say this, some say that when no one is really right. ugg. Hope you don't hate me now. Adios
