Addicted to Shoes

Okay, maybe "addicted" is a strong word. But, i really like shoes. I dont have as many as some women, but i have more than others. If i had $$$ and a husband that appreciated shoes, i'd have tons of them. But alas, i dont normally get to buy new ones.

HOWEVER...

Erica doesnt really have shoes. She's just starting to get into them. With her growing mobility, its getting more important to wear them.

Hehehehehhehehehehehe.
I'm going to turn her into a "shoe-aholic." She now has 5 pairs of shoes. Perhaps that does not sound like much... But my hubby will think it is. See, now-- She had cute little black 'mary-jane' style shoes to go with dresses. But they're getting to be too small for her feet. She also had a pair of sneakers; they are white with little pink accents here and there. They have shoelaces though, which is harder to get on. Also, they're a bit small-- they still fit. No problem. But in a little while, they wont work.

So, she has new dress-up shoes. Very pretty. Also black 'mary-jane' shoes. And, she has shoes that are kind of like Uggs (how is that spelled? i have no clue). And a sneaker-type shoe. They're brown and oh so cool.

I will get pictures up ASAP.
[I'm visiting my parents-- and abby-- this week. My hubby is in Florida on a business trip. And yes, he is feeling better.]

My wife took care of the shoes in the house. That is until my son got into skateboarding, now we go to the skateshop to get his shoes. My middle daughter loves shoes, she would rather goes shopping for shoes than toys. Glad hubby is doing better! I truly believe you women who care for their babies are blessed. The man rarely does a fraction of what the woman does, at least in the first years. I am sure there are single dads out there somewhere but more often than not, its the woman. I have learned so much from my wife. Buy her shoes. Buy her what makes you feel good, if you can. It feels good to spoil your child. There is a second hand store up here in mn called "once upon a child" they sell lots of used and good condition stuff, but I could never get into buying used stuff for the little little ones. But thats me, my wife bought a lot of stuff from there. Gawd I will quit filling up your blog now! adios

I'm not big into shoes. I've got my tennis shoes, sandals and boots. I'm happy with those.
