HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Erica is SIX MONTHS OLD today. (i would tell you how long she is and how much she weighs, but its embarrassing for a 6 month old.)

To celebrate, my husband decided that icecream was in order. My sister Abby came to celebrate (and go shopping tomorrow!). so, we bought icecream at Turkey Hill-- two cartons for $5. Good deal.

So, we sat in the living room and Erica was on the floor, looking at all of us with our bowls. Her daddy decided to put the carton in front of her. And of course, she decided that since it was HER birthday, she should get some too! So, she bit into it!! well, just the cardboard container. aint no way she's getting icecream. (If you read the previous post, you know that she may be prone to food allergies.)

then we took the carton away. we sat, eating from our bowls, and erica looked at us. all of a sudden... WAAHH! erica wanted food too. i gave her an empty bowl, but she was not fooled.

i guess its kinda cruel to celebrate someones birthday but not give them anything.
