I AM WOMAN, hear me roar!

I love it when I'm able to figure out something tricky. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment.

What am I refering too?

GUESS WHERE I'M BLOGGING FROM??? My home! Yippee! You know what that means? I figured out the internet issue.

And even better, I'm blogging at my kitchen counter, NOT in the cold lonely basement.

For Christmas, my loving hubby bought me a new wireless computer router. But we were having crazy trouble trying to get it hooked up. Ends up, we had the wrong plug connecting the modem to the outlet. Didn't know that that could cause so much trouble. The internet tech guy that I called said I'm lucky I didn't break the whole modem!!! Eek!

But its all good now. I'm so great!

I'll try to make my blog-rounds now and visit all my readers. [As long as Erica stays happy watching her 'mouse movie'... ie, Ratatuille]

You'd be surprised how much trouble one tiny little issue can turn into when it comes to wireless internet. We've had ours for several years, and it always seemed to work funny...come to find out the whole time it was due to a broken plug that needed to be replaced. Who would have thought it...since it worked most of the time?

So glad you figured it out! Would you believe we went a year with really crappy, inconsistent dsl. I made dozens of phone calls to Verizon and they were of no help whatsoever fixing it. One day I was at Best Buy and saw that there are filters that are built into the plug socket (instead of dangling from a wire), so I bought one since it would be prettier. Haven't had a single problem since. Thanks, Verizon, for pointing me to the $15 solution. Jerks.
