its beginning to look a lot like christmas

sigh... its nice to be in December. I've pulled out ALL of my Christmas CD's and listen to them CONSTANTLY. good times. Erica has her nice new Xmas dress. (dont take offense to me shortening it with an X... its just quicker to type.) Isnt she cute? I had her picture taken and we should be getting them back in a week and a half. YEAH! it turned out so cute. the background was of a log cabin and she was sitting on a sled! she had white tights on also and black shiny shoes.

Abby came over to visit Saturday. She helped us decorate. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! yippee! erica was SO intrigued by it all that she never took an afternoon nap. she was awake from 1 until like 8:30. gee. We got a little tree and put it in our big picture window. we had previously owned multi-colored lights, but they were dead. so, we bought white ones that twinkle. Yeah, erica LOVES that! she kept trying to get them. I have lots of little decorations out: snow men, santa claus, etc etc. its wonderful. And andrew put his choo-choo-train up. We have a little border shelf thing above our kitchen counters, and he put it up there. Hehe, but if it derails, its gonna fall down quite a few feet!

To our excitement, we woke up to snow this morning! so, erica had her first snow-outing. hehe. she was funny looking in her snowsuit. cuz she couldnt crawl very well in it. hehe. she kinda enjoyed it though. Unfortunately, it was not a light, fluffy snow. it had kinda rained/misted after the snow, so it was hard and icy on top. but, it still made for a great picture opportunity!
