Blog Rounds

I made my blog rounds-- FINALLY! Got to just about everyone. [Raj-- I couldn't get the comment page to open up. So here's my comment: I really liked Pan's Labrynth as well, though it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be.]

My doctor called me back Thursday. He told me my blood work results. Said this was okay, that was okay, bla bla. And I was feeling a bit low. Then he said "but it does appear your anemic. So take such and such amount of iron."

WooHoo! I was right!

I bought iron supplements. And also B-Complex vitamins. I'll let you know how I'm feeling in a few days once it kicks in.

I'm worried about Hubby. Poor Andrew has work concerns. He couldnt sleep last night. I hope all of it works out okay. [More on this later-- not sure if I'm supposed to really be sharing it.]

Hopefully you are on the road to recovery now...make sure you also start eating foods that are high in iron...spinage, red meat, etc. I get the same way when I don't eat enough iron rich foods.

What? My post page wasn't loading? I hope it was a one off thing and there's nothing for me to worry about. I had imagined Pan's labyrinth to be an out and out adventure movie. It did turn out to be different but still great!

Feel better soon! My sister is going through similar issues right now and is in the process of being tested for anemia, thyroid, etc. I can't imagine how hard it is with a little one at home is with the fatigue.

Hey Becky. I hope that anemia resolves itself. Did the doc tell you that the iron could make you nauseus(sp)? If it does, go find the easy to digest kind. I forget what it's called but it's better.
Also, the body doesn't eliminate iron so don't take too much. My hubby did and it started coming out through his skin in rust colored spots. Just stick to the dose until your body recovers. Best bet for anemia is fruit. Eat more fruit.
I hope your hubby's work concerns iron themselves out. If not, maybe time for a change. Change is scary but can be real good.
Much love to you and the family.
Agnes

I'm not feeling up to par completely. Still a bit out-of-it. But today Erica and I went outside in the bitter cold and walked around in the snow. I was chilled, but the fresh air still was good.

silverneurotic- I'm eating lima beans. They've got iron, and I actually do like them

raj- I don't think the problem was on your part. Most likely mine. With this wireless internet, sometimes its slower than others, and it may just have been at a slow spot.

debbie- hope you sister gets better too!

agnes- I'm anxious for Hubby to come home today and hear what's gone on today
